The Millinocket School District would like to welcome you to our website. We are dedicated to providing a world class education that is rigorous, relevant and motivating to ensure that students reach their individual potential in an environment of continual learning for both students and staff.
The two buildings in our district are wonderful facilities that have state of the art technology, innovative teachers, and creative learning environments. Granite Street Elementary provides a nurturing culture centered on our motto - Be Safe, Be Kind, or Be Here. Stearns Jr Sr High School has integrated their core disciplines in classes such as Outdoor Education, Engineering, dual enrollment college level course, and is a region III sending school for career and technical education. Stearns also has award winning Performing Arts programs and sports teams.
